ABOUT US

CHURCH VISION
At Living Water Fellowship, a warm welcome awaits you.
We are a vibrant Pentecostal Church (based in North London) which is dynamic, loving and committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus, thus bringing hope and freedom to those we encounter. We are here to serve all ethnicities inside and outside of the church and our aim is AVIC, to be “A Voice In The Community”.
At Living Water Fellowship, we believe that we are destined for greatness by raising leaders, impacting generations, nations and transforming lives. We aim to establish various programmes which will enable us to raise and empower leaders. So far, we have a discipleship program which starts this process.
We are aware that there are gaps in services in the community and Living Water Fellowship endeavours to help to fill some of those gaps and provide those services. Our prayer is that you will encounter God’s presence and will fulfill your God-given purpose on Earth.
CHURCH HISTORY
In 1961, approximately five local residents began to meet for prayer and consecration on Saturday evenings. These meeting were held in a room at 1 Stamford Hill, South Tottenham and was led by Mr. L A Richards.
The congregation later moved to 5 Vartry Road, London N15 after one of the members was able to purchase her own home and allowed one of the rooms for worship, something that was commonplace for the Windrush Generation of the 1950s and 1960s.
As the membership grew, Mr. Leyland Richards was appointed to be the Pastor and the Church was then able to rent a school hall for worship and Sunday School. Over the years, the Church has experienced both numerical and spiritual growth, although there has been a significant movement of the members which includes relocation nationally and internationally.
The congregation changed addresses a further three times to Rheola Close, White Hart Lane (both in Tottenham) and then to New Southgate. We continue to honour the legacy of those deceased and previous pastors whose legacy have paved the way for our next chapter in ministry.

PRAYER
At Living Water Fellowship, we believe that prayer to the all-powerful God changes things. Prayer must be an integral, indispensable and mandatory part of the Church growth and development. We carry out the mandate of Jesus Christ, “…My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations…” Matthew 21:13. Corporate prayer is held every Friday and in other cell groups on a weekly basis.
